The student community supporting future neuroscience researchers in Bordeaux, since 2012
Facilitate integration and support new students
The NBA (Neuroscience in Bordeaux Association) was created in 2012 by and for students in Neuroscience of Bordeaux.
The association is composed of full members and associate members coming from France and from all over the world. All members are currently students or old students of Neuroscience Master or PhD of Bordeaux.
The association is also associated with « The House of Brain » as founding member.

Among its objectives, NBA wish to:
Set up an intergenerational network favoring exchanges and cohesion between Master students and PhD students in Neuroscience in Bordeaux. Each member will be able to share their experience with others
Become a privileged interlocutor between students, the educational committee of the Master’s degree and the Science Life and Health Doctoral School of Bordeaux
Contribute to disseminate scientific knowledge in Neuroscience to the general public through the organization and/or the participation in meetings (e.g. Neurodon, Semaine du Cerveau, Pint of Science)
Be a part of a lifefull association

Integration afternoon
This event consisted of an « orientation race » with mixed teams of M1 and M2 to discover the institutes of the Neurocampus. At each « research institute » checkpoint, there were games to guide the teams to the next stop. Then a free snack and a prize giving was held for the team with the most points at the Pôle de Vie!
All kinds of events
We also frequently organize events such as afterwork parties, cake sales, and career guidance meetings. The goal of these events is to strengthen connections between our members and create new opportunities for students looking to explore their career paths, and for alumni and professionals looking to stay engaged with the community.
